“while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 Well today is the day for looking at things eternal. The lost celebrate the devil and demons, but their end, while eternal, is everlasting torment. So happy October 31st, or 4th day of the week or whatever, but forget the Halloween. We who know Jesus should be looking at our eternal reward, aware of the evil around us and the battles going on between satan’s angels and God’s angels we cannot see, but not worrying. God’s protection is there for His people and He is in control of everything and has prepared the victory. We need to pray and walk in what God has for us, knowing that though we may be like Elisha’s servant and not understand the spiritual realm around us, God does and our eternity is fixed and our day to day walk serving others is protect too. ‘Then Elisha prayed and said, O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. And the LORD opened the servants eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.’ 2 Kings 6:17 Trust in the Lord and obey Him and leave the results up to Him.
