...why bash someone for a joke? Its kinda gross. a friend of mine didnt like my post about Kim K and the skills she could learn. Im not angry at her. Making fun of people is not nice. Not nice at all. Im gonna be real with you guys because I like you enough to tell it like it is. Most comedy today is based on observation. You recall a person, situation or event and you exaggerate, simplify or poke fun at it to make it humorous. Generally youre having fun at the expense of something other than yourself. This doesnt make it right and Im not here to justify using others for a laugh. Its part of the ride. You either roll with it and embrace it or let it make you biter. Every person has feelings and nobody is any more or less deserving of occasional mockery. To me its all equal. And often funny. I dont like to pick and choose which people deserve to be made fun of nor do I judge those telling the jokes. Everyone gets a piece and its seldom personal. When Im famous someday, theyll be poking fun at me. So whether youre Jon Stewart making fun of George Bush, Chris Rock making fun of Hillary Clinton, South Park making fun of Mormons, family guy making fun of Christians, Louis CK making fun of his daughters teachers, Pablo Francisco making fun of Aaron Neville, George Takei making fun of Sarah Palin, SNL making fun of Claire Danes, Nicki Minaj making fun of Lil Kim, Tina Fey making fun of Paris Hilton or the entirety of the Internet poking fun at Kim K, its all equal. We laugh at the expense of others constantly. My point here is not that you feel bad about it or feel better knowing everyone including your idols do it but just to be aware that everyone does. Were all gross. The only winner here is Kim K. Because her name is everywhere again and shes consistently making news. The stunt was brilliant. Im not going to feel sorry for her in the least. She cracked the code Miley Cyrus style! So why bash someone for a joke? ...because its funny ^_^ bash is a stronger word than Id use but if Kim cant laugh at herself and this situation and see the humor in this pointless froth.. then maybe shes not human. Shes the comedy sensation of the year. Thats an accomplishment if ever Ive seen one.
