...with the exception of the Trombone - regarding the word Peace, here, as opposed to the word, PieceS.: You see, the old Italian name for the Trombone, was actually Tromba Spezzata, or Trumpet in two-pieces, on account of the fact that the player (still) needs to take Both SEPARATE Parts out of the case, the Slide section, and the Bell section, an put them together (in a manner of assembling them) each time, prior to playing. And so, I guess you can say that the Trombone is, in fact, an instrument of PieceS - in more ways than one, if you think about it. (get it? Pieces of Music). And then, with most other wind instruments, as you know additionally, theres the mouthpiece. Also: Did you know that the Trombone has changed the very Least of all musical instruments, throughout its very long history? And now some questions for you: 1. what was the Name of the Predecessor of the Trombone? (answer spelled backwards: tubhcas) 2. what were the reasons Why the Trombone was given this ancient name? and 3.
