#zenith Olaoye Igbo And Yoruba Collaboration Can Change Nigeria, If They Bury The Hatchet For Once By Dr. Wumi Akintide When two elephants fight it is the grass that suffers. The grass in the metaphor is Nigeria and generations of Nigerians yet unborn. The Nigerian nation under the Hausa/Fulani and their Igbo coalition has always been one step forward and two steps backwards. The Igbos and the Yorubas working together may well have been the key to the nation’s steady progress, but the two tribes are ever so distrustful of each other. Nigeria at 54 is a nation kept alive on life support and compromise, which thrives on mediocrity rather than merit. Gej is ruling and we are still there encouraging him..we believe that God giveth power to whom so ever he wishes to...in God we have always trusted despite the huge lost we had during the biafran war yet we came back stronger.i was suprise when the ACF said the igbos do have N45trillion worth of assets in the north..i guess that is even small compared to the assets in the west and southsouth..that is Gods blessing for you. We believe that God gives power. Yoruba are dynamic, friendly, progressives and politically inclined. Moreso they are have a defined territory and divine history, lover of all tribes and development oriented, they are accomondating and have respect for humanity. Well educated and can accurately predict and plan for future. If and only if other tribes in Nigeria can learn from Yoruba, then Nigeria will be great again. 1914 marriage is neither convenient nor inconvient but Yoruba own the smartest key to Nigeria greatness. They are the only people who want to live and want others to live. Trusting them will only result to repeat of what Awolowo did to Ojukwu and rest of Biafrans. What is in the gene can not change. This is not an insult to fulanis and hausas but the only thing they care about is grabbing power. The northern leaders only care about creating a dynasty for their generation and leaving the poor people to depend on them. That is why they send their children abroad to the best schools and years later these children will come back and take over their fathers. In the south its not like that, everyone has equal opportunity to succeed if he or she works hard. Does anyone know who the father of President GEJ is? What about Governor Amaechis father? Okorocha nko? Northern youths should shine their eyes. I dont knw about other tribes but certainly Hausa Muslims are not helping matters in this country. I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God-willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the sharia in the country. Muslims should vote at the next Presidential election only for someone who will defend their faith Like · 14 · Reply · Yesterday at 5:19pm 35 replies Alexis Murphy I think a union between the Hausas and Ibos is better than Ibos and Yorubas. Yorubas can betray you when you least expected so they cant be trusted
