//(ˆ◡ˆ)\\ Good morning... again. I went to bed last night at 12:30, woke up at 5:30. I tried to go to the bathroom on my crutches but I couldnt because of my good leg. Well I call it my good leg which really isnt, it had polio in it too but it grew stronger and I took the brace off of it myself. My sister Linda ran us off the road on her bike and broke it in two places when we were kids. My brother ran over that foot with daddys old pickup truck, and I cant count the times I have fell on that poor knee. When I get up I lock the brace on my left leg at the knee which makes that leg stiff so I can walk. If I step on something or a wet place that leg will shoot straight out in front of me and down I go on my other knee because it folds up underneath me. Yesterday I went to stand up and I kinda twisted that knee, I dont know exactly how but it sure is giving me a fit. Anyhow I got on the couch and propped that leg up and went back to sleep. Im up for the second time and dont feel good at all. Did I say I dont like being old? Taint no fun at all yall, lol.... (Oh my heavens lets turn that page) The weatherman said it was 45 in Boone, N.C. this morning (thats in our mountain area). Goodness is it Summer or Fall? Just yesterday we had that hurricane Arthur on our coast, cool weather today. This has been some kind of strange year so far. Makes you wonder what the other half will be like... (lets turn this page too) Just listen to all my complaining. I know better than that because I have so much to be thankful for. God bless and yall have a good one.
