”මහජන හා මාධ්‍ය සම්බන්ධතා” ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාවේ ප‍්‍රථම කණ්ඩායමට සහතික පත‍්‍ර ප‍්‍රදානෝත්සවය සහ දෙවන කණ්ඩායමේ සමාරම්භක උළෙල ජනවාරි මස 18 වන දා කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ජනසන්නිවේදන අධ්‍යයන අංශය මගින් ශ‍්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප‍්‍රථම වරට ආරම්භ කළ ”මහජන හා මාධ්‍ය සම්බන්ධතා” ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාවේ, 2013 වසරේ ප‍්‍රථම ඩිප්ලෝමාධාරීන්ට සහතික පත‍්‍ර ප‍්‍රදානෝත්සවය හා එහි 2015 දෙවන කණ්ඩායමේ සමාරම්භක උළෙල 2015 ජනවාරි මස 18 වන දින සමාජීය විද්‍යා පීඨ මණ්ඩල රැුස්වීම් ශාලාවේදී පැවැත්විණ. කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ උපකුලපති මහාචාර්ය සුනන්ද මද්දුම බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ ප‍්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවති මෙම අවස්ථාවට සමාජීය විද්‍යා පීඨයේ පීඨාධිපති ඒ.එච්.එම්.එච් අබයරත්න මහතා සහ ජනසන්නිවේදන අධ්‍යයන අංශයේ අධ්‍යයන කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයද සහභාගී වූහ. මෙහිදී ප‍්‍රධාන දේශනය සම්මානිත මහාචාර්ය සුනන්ද මහේන්ද්‍ර මහතා විසින් සිදුකරනු ලැබිණ. Diploma in Public and Media Relations – Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the 1st batch and the Inaugural Ceremony of the 2nd batch The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the 1st batch of the Diploma in Public and Media relations, offered by the Department Mass Communication of the University of Kelaniya, and the inaugural ceremony of the 2nd batch took place on the 18th of January, 2015 at the Board Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The ceremony was held under the auspices of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunanda Madduma Bandara. The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. A.H.M.H. Abeyrathna and the academic staff members of the Department of Mass Communication too were present at this event. The key note address was delivered by Prof. Sunanda Mahendra.
