☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ I LOVE our Down syndrome doc. Shes our clinic doc and head of the pediatric unit, and is the doc on this week. When I heard this I breathed a sigh of relief KNOWING she would fix things. She called and the first thing I said was I hope you have a different plan for Jett, what we are currently doing isnt working. She said Ill tell you what, I have a different plan, have implemented it, and its working, he is currently sleeping on 2l of oxygen!!!!! Say what?!?!?!?! What has she done?! He isnt sick .... He is having asthma issues!!!! Shes LOADED him up on ventolin and steroids and its worked. Tomorrow she will decrease the amount to a home dose and if he does well... Wait for it... He will be home Christmas Eve!!!!!!! Also because of the issues Ive had with a neurologist referral , she is sending that away , and raising his keppra ( because he is still having seizure activity, and he isnt even on a treatment dose). So big collective sigh team Jett. We can do this. Keep those positive thoughts coming, and thank you 😊
