The salon is beautiful and the staff is polite and accommodating. I helped myself to a coffee since I had arrived early for my appointment, and before I knew it, Gene was ready to work magic with my hair. Before beginning, Gene always consults with me about what I am looking to do with my hair. He asks if I would like any changes with my style or color, provides me with his professional recommendation, and gives me options to think about. Last week when I went for my appointment Gene transformed my average highlights (done at another salon) into incredible highlights: the color, spacing, and technique was spot on. Not only did he do wonderful highlights, he also corrected the mistakes made in the past when I had gone elsewhere for my hair. I will never go anywhere else again. The entire time he had me smiling, laughing, and very comfortable. He finished up my hair with a lovely angled hair cut, seeing as I am not skilled enough on my own to style complicated layers. The cut was perfect: just the length I was hoping for and the style is sassy yet sophisticated. Way to go, Gene! 5 stars!!!
