01/04/14 9:20pm Adam has had a nicely quiet day today. His heart rate is elevated and his temperature is slowly creeping up again, but he is maintaining an adequate blood pressure so far. Surgery Number 28 is scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. The surgeons will attempt to close his abdomen with stitches. If his wound has retracted too much, they will use a mesh material to cover the area that cant be closed, and eventually graft that site. This is not ideal because he will eventually develop a large hernia there, but we will deal with that when the time comes. As I write this post, I see that we are just 25 away from being 16,000 Prayer Warriors strong! I am in awe of the sheer number of beautiful souls here who love and pray for my son. I hope to awake tomorrow to that even number. God bless you all. ❤️
