013-09-10 15:12 Abuja - Jigawa Golden Stars FC has disengaged 19 players and retained 15 others, Dodo Isa, the club’s Team Manager, has said. Isa said on Tuesday in Dutse that nine other players on loan to the team had been released to their various clubs, while some of the disengaged players had been placed on transfer. The team manager advised the remaining players to justify their retention, warning that "no hard work, no automatic shirt." He also cautioned them against indiscipline as the team was targeting bouncing back to the premiership next season. "I want to warn the players that we will not tolerate any form of laziness and lateness, because we want to bounce back to premier league next season. "The players should sit up because we are going to work for it so as to succeed in our quest,' he said. According to him, the management of the team has taken proactive measures to ensure that the club secures promotion to the premiership next season. He said the Jigawa government, the owners of the team, was ready to finance it, and commended the commissioner for sports, Babandi Ibrahim, for his support. - NAN
