This light bathes these cities in a unique way, irradiating them with a subtle and sophisticated light, dazzling and yet gentle, extremely clear (…) True cultural breeding grounds, Mediterranean cities are chaotic, troubled, fragmented. A family resemblance exists between them, fashioning inexpressible links. Getting lost in their streets means being receptive to the abundance of olfactory, visual and acoustic stimuli offering themselves to us, and discovering new contours to their shifting territory. Nevertheless, despite their similarities, each is unique and each has its own effervescence. The authors selected for this issue present their visions of the Mediterranean, and it is into their intimacy that we invite you.
