02 die, 18 injured in road mishaps Srinagar, August 29: Two persons died and 18 others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A Tata mobile bearing registration number JK05A/8997 hit Shamas-ud- din son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Badugam at Shat Tulail, Bandipora, resulting in his on spot death. Bandipora Police has registered a case in this regard. In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number Jk03C/9212 hit and injured a 22 years old Sajad Ahmad Khan son of Gull Mohammad Khan resident of Khud Gujjar nard, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar. The injured was shifted to PHC Devsar where doctors declared him brought dead. Police Devsar has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a Scorpio bearing registration number JK05D/1848 hit and injured a pedestrian Akhtar Ahmad Mughal son of Mohammad Hussain resident of Dachna Salamabad, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Boniyar near Court complex Boniyar, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Boniyar Police has registered a case n this regard. In another accident, a Tata passenger vehicle bearing registration number Jk04/1668 turned turtle near KSERT College, Humhama, Budgam, resulting in injuries to 15 persons who were travelling in it. All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment. Humhama Police has registered a case in this regard. In another accident, a Santro car bearing registration number Jk01N/7088 hit and injured a cyclist in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sopore. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment. Sopore Police has registered a case in this regard.
