02 died, 01 injured in road accidents: Farhan Qayoom, Reporter, Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Srinagar, August 30: Two persons died while another was injured in separate road accidents across the valley. A LP truck (JK16-0353) hit a pedestrian Mohammad Rashid Khatana son of Mohammad Abdullah resident of Potha Rajouri at Hung Park, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gund, resulting in his on spot death. After performing all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a bus bearing registration number JK01E/2484 driven by Abdul Majid Khan resident of Hafruda hit and injured a pedestrian Habib Ullah Tantary son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Bohipora at Regipora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kupwara. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara where he succumbed to his injuries. The body was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard. In another accident, a Verna vehicle ( JK05D- 5758 ) skidded off the road at Sangri Top, in the jurisdiction of Police Staiton Sopore, resulting in injuries to driver Mohammad Ishaq Tantary son of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Chankipora Sopore. The injured was shifted to M.I room 27RR camp Watlab for treatment.
