03-02-2014: THE COMMUNION IS A SURVIVAL MEAL THAT NOURISHES AND ENCOURAGES (OR RENEWS) Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you...he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat. Then they were encouraged, and also took food themselves ~(Acts 27:33-36) this is the account of Pauls voyage to Rome in regard to his appeal to Caesar. Before they set off, Paul warned them of the danger ahead (Acts 27:9-11), but they paid no heed to Him. After they suffered all the terrible things Paul advised them of, everybody was sad and weary and afraid of losing their lives: but Paul introduced them to the holy communion! Vs 36 says they took food themselves. This might seem like its not talking about communion, but the communion is food. Jesus said: For my flesh is food indeed (John 6:55) The communion is a survival meal: a meal that nourishes and renews the weary and troubled soul. The communion is a form of waiting on the Lord, where our strength is renewed: Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, But those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:30-31) Christ instituted the communion as a solution to Isaiah 40:30 Are you weary and faint in soul: are you weak and dying: are you discouraged and lost of hope: I suggest the best remedy i have known to solve all these problems~ the holy communion! ~(Isaiah 40:28-29, 31) today, i present to you another benefit of the holy communion: will you believe and partake of it..?? You are righteous! the communion is our end time tree of life! God loves you...love you too...!!!
