04 Sep 04:31 PM ISLAMABAD: The Prime Ministers Office has refuted claims of the appointment of Zulfiqar Cheema as Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh. According to the PM Office a decision in this regard is yet to be made. Earlier State TV broadcast news of Cheemas appointment and the removal of Shahid Nadeem Baloch as IGP Sindh. Following reports of the appointment, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said the appointment was imposed on the province. Nawaz Sharif has started the politics of 1990s. We consider this as the beginning of Governor Rule in the province. Cheema is currently serving as IG National Highway and Motorway Police.
