05 Saluting Good Leadership : ******************************** ** THEY :> HONOR & TRUST * RESPECT AND APPRECIATE * THOSE THEY :> APPOINT & ORDAIN ** ******************************** Exodus 18:13>27 And it came to pass on the morrow, that MOSES SAT TO JUDGE THE PEOPLE: AND THE PEOPLE STOOD BY MOSES FROM THE MORNING UNTO THE EVENING . AND WHEN MOSES FATHER IN LAW SAW ALL THAT HE DID TO THE PEOPLE, HE SAID, WHAT IS THIS THING THAT THOU DOEST TO THE PEOPLE ?? WHY SITTEST THOU THYSELF ALONE, AND ALL THE PEOPLE STAND BY THEE FROM MORNING UNTO EVEN ?? And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of GOD: When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of GOD, and his law . And Moses Father In Law said unto him, THE THING THAT THOU DOEST IS NOT GOOD. THOU WILT SURELY WEAR AWAY, BOTH THOU, AND THIS PEOPLE THAT IS WITH THEE: FOR THIS THING IS TOO HEAVY FOR THEE: THOU ART NOT ABLE TO PERFORM IT THYSELF ALONE . Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and GOD shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to GOD-WARD, that thou mayest bring the causes unto GOD: And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear GOD, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: AND LET THEM JUDGE THE PEOPLE AT ALL SEASONS: and it shall be, that EVERY GREAT MATTER THEY SHALL BRING UNTO THEE, but every small matter they shall judge: SO SHALL IT BE EASIER FOR THYSELF, and THEY SHALL BEAR THE BURDEN WITH THEE. IF THOU SHALT DO THIS THING, AND GOD COMMAND THEE SO, THEN THOU SHALT BE ABLE TO ENDURE, AND ALL THIS PEOPLE SHALL ALSO GO TO THEIR PLACE IN PEACE . So Moses Hearkened To The Voice Of His Father In Law, AND DID ALL THAT HE HAD SAID . And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, AND MADE THEM HEADS OVER THE PEOPLE, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. AND THEY JUDGED THE PEOPLE AT ALL SEASONS: the hard causes they brought to Moses, BUT EVERY SMALL MATTER THEY JUDGED THEMSELVES. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, And Philip, and Prohorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: WHOM THEY SET BEFORE THE APOSTLES: AND WHEN THEY HAD PRAYED, THEY LAID THEIR HANDS ON THEM. AND THE WORD OF GOD INCREASED; AND THE NUMBER OF THE DISCIPLES MULTIPLIED IN JERUSALEM GREATLY; And a great company of priests were obedient to the Faith . ******************************** 2nd Peter 1:10>12 Wherefore the rather brethren, give diligence to make YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fail: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . Wherefore I will not be negligent TO PUT YOU ALWAYS IN REMEMBRANCE OF THESE THINGS, though ye know them, AND BE ESTABLISHED IN THE PRESENT TRUTH . ******************************** ******************************** T O - E V E R Y - O N E : > ** GOOD LEADERS HAVE FAITH IN THEIR STAFF & MINISTERS * JUST LIKE JESUS HAD FAITH :> IN HIS 12 APOSTLES ( Plus :> Luke 10:17>20 ) THAT HE EMPOWERED * FOR IT MAKES NO SENSE TO APPOINT AND ORDAIN PEOPLE :> THAT YOU DONT TRUST ** GOOD LEADERS KNOW THAT :> THEY CANT ADVANCE THEMSELVES * LOOKING OVER EVERY BODYS SHOULDERS :> SO THEY WAIT FOR BOARD MEETINGS, TO BE UPDATED ON , CHURCH PROGRESS * AND GOOD LEADERS HANDLE BAD NEWS, IN BOARD MEETINGS :> AND NOT IN PUBLIC ( Insulting Their Appointees :> In The front Of * GODS - SHEEP . ** GOOD LEADERS :> ARE AWARE THAT * THEY WAY THEY RESPECT & APPRECIATE :> THOSE THEY APPOINT & ORDAIN * WILL REFLECT ON HOW :> OTHERS WILL TREAT THEM ** IF A CHILD SAYS :> YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO !!! * YOU AINT MY :> MOTHER ( or ) FATHER !!! * IT SHOWS THAT :> THAT CHILD WASNT TAUGHT, HOW TO RESPECT AND APPRECIATE OTHERS ( GOOD LEADERS, UNDERSTAND THAT & AVOID THAT FROM HAPPEN- ING IN THEIR CHURCHES ) . ** GOOD LEADERS :> KNOW THAT * TITLES & POSITIONS :> MEANS NOTHING * IF THEY ARE NOT OPERATING IN A :> CHRIST LIKE MANNER ** **( 1st Corinthians 13:1>3 ) ** ** ( 1st Corinthians 14:33 ) ** ** ( 1st Peter 3:10>11 ) ** ** ( James 3:14>18 ) ** ******************************** 1st Corinthians 16:14 LET ALL YOUR THINGS BE DONE WITH CHARITY . Romans 14:16>19 Let not then your good be evil spoken of; FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT MEAT AND DRINK; BUT RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND PEACE, AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST. FOR HE THAT IN THESE THINGS SERVETH CHRIST IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD, AND APPROVED OF MEN . LET US THEREFORE FOLLOW AFTER THE THINGS WHICH MAKE FOR PEACE, & THINGS WHEREWITH ONE MAY EDIFY ANOTHER . ******************************** 1st Corinthians 3:7&9 / 14:40 SO THEN NEITHER IS HE THAT PLANTETH ANY THING, NEITHER HE THAT WATERETH; BUT GOD THAT GIVETH THE INCREASE .
