06th July 2013 - Hit a new territory this time with my 63 KM ride through OMR upto a place called Padur (31.5 KM away from home) and took a U turn there and came back home the same route and that makes it 63 KM on my cyclometer with a saddle time of 3 hours and 7 minutes. Rest taken in between 35 Mins including a 20 min food break at a hotel in Karapakkam where I had nice Pongal and Vada. The taste was okay - not like the roadside idlys I had last week. Not bad for what I do at all, a few good looking girls were giving me stares and one of them even waved to me. Probably they could not realize my real age with my dark glasses and cap on and my riding style that is easily far more stylish than the youth of today. I waved back to this sweet girl telling within myself that I took to cycling 30 years much too late.....Good that I am doing what I like when I still have time than regret in the final moments.
