07.02.14 to 14.09.14 29 weeks between these photos, you can see that there is a massive difference. The left side is a very self conscious lady who was dreading posting her before pictures however on the right side is a girl who doesnt mind who takes a photo... :) But really I cannot believe the difference in my body, I am so much more confident in my skin, feeling strong, healthy and energetic. I know that my journey up to date may have seemed a bit intense at times and I appreciate that my goals might not match those of others however I hope I have demonstrated that if I can get results like this there is NOTHING stopping you from getting and achieving the body or lifestyle of your choice. Appearance is not everything and that is important to remember however I do believe that it is extremely important to feel confident in your own skin. Eating well and working out do that for me. I really have never been so content in my own being. Dont get me wrong, of course there are a few things that I might never be fully happy with, we all have our little hang-ups but all in all I can hold my head up high. I may not have won the competition on Sunday but that doesnt mean I will forget about all of the hard work Matt and I put in, the sacrifices that were made and how good I was feeling about myself. As I said before, you are never going to be everyones cup of tea, but honestly when you find that confidence and self contentment you wont give a shite about anyone elses opinion. Why should you? Just because you get someones approval doesnt automatically make you happy. You dont have to go hard or go home but I promise that by making a couple of changes here and there and doing an extra bit of moving will make a huge difference. Start with baby steps, nothing major if you dont want to, just little by little. Be brave and trust yourself. Each of us are as capable as the next, sometimes all we need is a little belief and a little push. Kate xx
