07.09.2014 Thanx for comments,likes, and sharing my post in my reries of PEOPLE LIKE YOU, In my earlier post I write about 3rd principle.So today 4th principle. ¤ 4TH PRINCIPLE- BE A GOOD LISTENER Being a good and a patient listener helps you work through many of lifes problems and see the world through the eyes of others. * 1) LISTENING WITH AN OPEN MIND- # Place yourself in the other person shoe. # Avoid comparing the persons experiences to your own. # Focus on absorbing everything the person saying to you. * 2) KNOWING WHAT TO SAY- # Be silent at first and wait patiently for the other person to unfold their thougt. # Reassure the person of your confielentially. # Be encouraging when you do speak. # Ask meaningful and empowering questions. * 3) USING APPROPRIATE BODY LANGUAGE- # Make eye contact,it is important when you are listening. # Give the speaker your full attention,100% focused on them. # Encourage the speaker with body language. # Listen actively to express your intrest. ¤ so,effectivlistening is a skill that underpins all positive human releationships,spend some time thinking about and developing you listening skills.
