Synoptic Situation: Heavy rain, which may lead to flash flooding, is expected to continue today. Currently, the heaviest rain is located on radar over the greater Brisbane area. Locations which may be affected include Gold Coast, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and islands and Caloundra. Falls up to 80mm have occured during the last 2 hours over parts of the greater Brisbnae area.
