.09.20.14 To: Sanano Martial Arts System Students From: Grand Master Andy Sanano We are a strong Family in the Sanano System. It is the students that make our System what it is. At times members of our family are confronted with human difficulties, sometimes beyond their control. As such a Family, with values of inner strength and genuine concern for each other, there is no room for judgmental attitudes and behaviors. That is, when one of us has trouble, judging him/her is not helpful and is not part of our way. That said, it is also important for us to set limits and honor those limits. Sometimes, we are confronted with behavior that is disrespectful and disruptive to what we are here to do. Although we need not judge the person, we must follow the proper behavior limits consistent with our values of respect and honor in the martial arts. We ARE a strong family.
