Point to make: the simple 16-note riff from his Oscar-nominated song “Live And Let Die” was so powerful in its own right that longtime collaborator and producer George Martin wrote the score for the James Bond movie of the same name around the “da-da-da, da-da-da/ Da-da // Da-da-da / da-da-da-da-da….” The lyrics to the title song have been misunderstood from time to time and many think that Paul is guilty of bad grammar in an often-misheard line, which is as follows: “But if this ever-changing world in which we’re livin’….” Is heard sometimes as “but in this ever-changing world in which we live in”. Believe me, Paul knows his proper English! To this day, the song is a show-stopper and it certainly was at the 2005 Super Bowl.
