1/1/15....is this possible? As they say Time and tide waits for no one. Regardless of our readiness, 2015 is here! 2014 was a great year! We each wait for the assessment of 2015. I only know one way to live...face the future with faith and trust God for what the coming year(s) will bring. I have been blessed beyond measure. My resolution is to be a blessing rather than to require one. Yet, I am acutely aware that without Gods blessings I will not draw another breath. The old hymn says I need Thee every hour most precious Lord...The more perspective I gain...the more certain is that statement! When I was a little boy, I would walk with my father. I often held his finger as we walked. One day we were walking across a street in Kermit , Texas. I had hold of Dads finger. We were going toward a bank that dad used. A car came around the corner ...at that moment I ceased to be holding on to dad...he had lifted me up by his hand and moved me from the street to the side walk...all in the blink of an eye. Dad is with the Heavenly Father now! I sometimes long for those days of holding to his finger...feeling no threat. In 2014 I was reminded again and again that I could hold to Gods hand. I am confident that regardless of the events of 2015, God will lead me through the good and the bad. Diane and I wish you a happy new year! Go with God!
