1.1 •Clear away the clutter to promote good chi flow. CLEAN UP. To use Feng Shui for business growth, you must first clean and declutter your office space. Feng Shui is based on the movement of Chi, or life force energy, and a messy desk will prevent this energy from flowing freely. Clearing away clutter establishes order and will promote productivity and wealth. (see tips below for specific items to place on your desk in lieu of clutter) •2 To use Feng Shui for business growth, avoid having your back to a door and your front exposed to a window. MOVE YOUR DESK. The position of your desk is just as important as what you keep on it. The best place to keep your desk is as far back in the room as possible with your back to the wall. You should also have a view of the door, but never be directly in line with the door. Ideally your desk would also be aligned diagonally with the door and provide you a view of a window. (see Warnings below on ways to avoid positioning your desk.) • •3 A small fountain symbolizes the flow of wealth. GET A WATER FEATURE. You should include a water feature in your office if you want to use Feng Shui for business growth. You can incorporate this water feature in a variety of ways. Fish tanks or water fountains are among the most popular options, but if neither one of those will work in your space, you can always include a photo or painting of water. Water is a powerful symbol of money in Feng Shui, so however you incorporate it in your space, you must take care to keep that water clean and flowing. •4 In Feng Shui, bamboo plants bring luck. ADD SOME PLANTS. Aside from being nice to look at, healthy plants will also promote harmony as well as business and personal growth in the work place. The key is to keep them flourishing as dead plants will promote negative energy. Also be sure to avoid cactuses and other plants with sharp edges; these shapes promote negative chi. •5 PAINT. In Feng Shui, each color symbolizes a different element (wood, fire, earth, water, metal). The colors of your business logo, marketing materials, and colors of your office space will all affect the success of your business. If you pick the right colors to represent your business, youll prosper. The colors you pick depend on the type of your business. For example, the color red, indicative of fire, promotes digestion and represents cooking over a fire. So if you own a restaurant, you may want to paint the walls red and use red in your logo and on any fliers you mail out. To decide which colors to use, spend some time thinking about the true nature of your business. When you decide on what the essence of your business is, you must pick a corresponding color to enhance the right Feng Shui element Read more: ehow/how_4708121_use-feng-shui-business-growth.html#ixzz30WGBr3rC 2. 3. Warm Colors 4. •Red is a passionate color. Use it for an energy boost, or to inspire passion. It is a good color for use in rooms where group activities will take place, or where you will have guests gather in your home. Yellow is carefree and energizing. It is a good color for the kitchen, or for use in a bedroom if you want to lift your spirits. Pink is the color of romance. Use it in a room where you want to feel the influence of love. Cool Colors •Green is a woodsy color associated with growth. This is a great color for inspiration, so use it in your home office or study. It is also an adventurous color, and can be good for a workout room. Blue is a relaxing color, evoking images of the sea and sky. Use this color in your bathroom to make it feel as calming as a home spa. Purple is a color associated with royalty, which means money and power. Purple can stimulate confidence; it is also a spiritual color, so it is good for a study or prayer area of your home. • Other Colors •White is a pure color, also associated with focus. It promotes creativity, since it is reminiscent of a blank canvas. White can be a good color for an art studio because of this quality. Black is a mysterious, independent color. It can be a great accent color, but may be overwhelming if used too much. Brown is a safe, secure color. It is associated with the earth, and can help you feel secure in your home. Gray is a good color for balance. However, it can also be associated with inaction or indecision. Clutter is one of the biggest no-no’s in feng shui. Clutter bogs you down and disrupts the flow of energy. Clear everything out that you dont need. Clean out your closets, make room under your bed. Let the chi flow through your home. •2 Add water elements to your home. Water is the main element that brings wealth to your home. Water should always be clear, moving and free flowing. Never let your water get stagnant. Think peaceful, pure and relaxing. A fish tank is one way to stimulate your wealth areas. Make sure fish are healthy and strong and always keep the tank clean. You can display pictures of water scenes, especially ones showing abundance such as a fisherman bringing in a big haul of fish. Another great water feature to display in your home is a fountain. A fountain is a great way to keep your abundance flowing. A picture of flowing water will work if you cannot place a fountain in that area. Make sure you do not have vases of stagnant water and do not display photos or paintings of violent storms or other disturbing water scenes. Do not use water elements in bedrooms, this will have a negative impact on your finances. •Sponsored Links • Free Presentation Booklet From Dale Carnegie Training. This is another good way to enhance your wealth area, according to feng shui guidelines. If the plants have red or purple flowers that is even better. •5 Include photos or representations of things you want, goals, or representations of abundance and prosperity in your wealth and prosperity areas (you can find these baguas on a feng shui chart). Harvest scenes indicate abundance. You can also put photos up of the new car or house you are working towards. •6 Add representations of richness in your wealth corner. Anything that represents richness to you, such as a jewelry box, a piggy bank, or even your purse, should be placed in your wealth areas. Other general enhancements for wealth are seashells or fish sculptures, healthy plants and Austrian crystals. •7 Paint for prosperity. The best colors for the wealth area are green, red, purple, black and gold, with the most effective colors being red and green. •8 Open your doors and invite the wealth in. Make sure all doors open fully and easily, you don’t want a door that will not open all the way. This could affect your ability to make a comfortable living. •9 Give your kitchen a feng shui overhaul. You should focus on using positive feng shui elements in the wealth corner of the room and throughout the entire kitchen. First of all make sure your plumbing is in good working order. A dripping faucet is symbolically and literally money going down the drain. You should also keep your drains plugged when not in use. This keeps money in your possession. You do not want to accumulate wealth then have it go down the drain. Place a small bowl overflowing with fruit on a kitchen table or island to make it look as though you have an excess of produce. The Chinese believe the stove has a direct connection to wealth so make sure to keep your stove and burners in good working condition and keep them very clean. You can also hang or place a mirror on your stove to double the number of burners seen and therefore increasing your prosperity. Keep a copper, silver, or brass teapot in your kitchen. Have many jars of spices and jars filled with pasta, both of these symbolize wealth. •10 Close toilet lids. You don’t want to flush your money down the toilet. Remember to keep your drains plugged in your bathroom sinks and tubs as well and keep your plumbing in good working order. •11 Add feng shui elements throughout your home. Place a mirror in your dining room to make your table appear larger. Put a wind chime on the ceiling in your work area to attract wisdom and good chi Place all your valuables such as your jewelry boxes, safes, or piggy bank in the far left corner of the bedroom. In your living room hang a round clear crystal on an 18 inch red cord in the far left corner to give your wealth a boost. •12 Incorporate feng shui elements outside your home, in your yard, to attract wealth and prosperity. A fountain can be placed in front of your home; the water should flow inward towards your home. Make sure you turn it off at night to let the energies rest. If the southeast corner of your backyard slopes down and away from the house, put a light there to shine uphill. This sends wealth up to you. Place a windmill, weathervane, or any moving, spinning object in the far left corner of your backyard to stimulate energy and attract wealth Read more: ehow/how_2307108_use-feng-shui-attract-wealth.html#ixzz30WHw1IpE
