1.11.14 Saturday For a change were in Germany, in the Black Forest. This time were following a Ferrari F430 with me in my Mercedes SL280 following and videoing the drive up the wooded slopes of the Waldpark Platz Kreiuzweg to the summit at 1,079 metres. This is a route we use on most of our non French tours to arrive in Switzerland. After an overnight stay in Colmar, in Alsace, we visit the Schlumpf classic car museum in Mulhouse in the morning and then cross the river Rhine into Germany at Mullheim and take a scenic country route through the Black Forest and this is our first mountain climb over 1,000 metres.
