1/14/15 Cat whose owner is ill and cant take care of her anymore needs a good home in Springfield, MO area: My grandfather has had a bad fall and is unable to live on his own or care for his cat. We do not have the ability to care for her and do not want to put her down if we can find another option. He has a beautiful black sable cat who is about 12 years old. Hallie is fully clawed, and has been living in a garage for about a year, before that year, she was indoor/outdoor with the garage as her indoor. She is the kind of cat that either likes you or not. She is a sweetie when she does like you. She has shots: 2007 Feline Luekemia, 2015 Rabies, 2015 Feline Distemper, and has been spayed. She is definitely not your average barn cat as far as coat and looks. She is currently located in a vet and will be available Tuesday the 20th.
