1/15 - Nightly Update: One of the surgeons came by late tonight and talked with Masons nurse. At this point he wasnt overly concerned with the test today, but theyll round again in the morning and decide whether they want to do another test tomorrow to see if their appears to be an obstruction, or if they will just watch him for a couple days to see how he does. He did start having some bloody stools today, but they believe that could possible be because they did the study today which may have irritated his intestines. Again something they will watch closely and should know more on that over the next couple of days. His blood pressure started dropping this evening so they had to increase his Dopamine. His oxygen levels also dropped some so they had to go up on his vent settings. Oxygen levels are now in the 40s. Please continue to lift Mason up and pray for comfort for Jay and Jeanna during this exhausting time of uncertainty. Pray that God will give the doctors wisdom as they make some big decisions over the next few days on how best to treat sweet Mason and pray that he will remain overall stable in the meantime.
