1/24 update: Not much change. He does have more movement in his arms and can feel people touching his feet so thats promising. The pneumonia doesnt seem to be a problem, just causes him to be suctioned more and weakened his cough. Might cause a day to two delay in trying to remove the breathing tube. Looking on Sunday or Monday now but that could change depending on his inhale and exhale volume. No official word on the rash but they think its related to the Epstein Barr virus. It doesnt seem to be bothering him so thats good. The nurse told me it probably didnt surface until now because the steroid treatment he went through the beginning of last week masked it. Friday was his last blood transfusion (Plasmapheresis) so hopefully well start seeing the benefits of that speed up the healing process. Our family cannot say thank you enough. Everybody has been so thoughtful and caring. Hes been added to the prayer lists of churches in at least 7 different states. Hes now about an 11 out of 100.
