1:30PM SEQ UPDATE/2:30PM NENSW UPDATE: South-East QLD: • Storms active North of Kilcoy, Crows Nest, Inglewood, Texas, Stanthorpe and Killarney. Heavy Rain and Frequent Lightning being produced by these Storms. They are trying to move NE, but are very very slow moving, if not stationary at the moment. • Hailstorm North of Allora at the moment. Heavy Rain also in this cell, its currently near-stationary • Flash Flooding is possible North of Kilcoy due to the stationary nature of the Storm and the fact its covering such a large area. • Now that Storms are trying to push towards the Coast... areas like Redcliffe, East Brisbane, Gold Coast have a better chance, still not promising anything, but its better than having Stationary Storms 200km from the Coast. NENSW: • Storms active near Walcha, Guyra, Ben Lomond, Kempsey, Glen Innes and Inverell. These Storms are capable of producing Hail, along with Heavy Rain. • Frequent Lightning is going off like crazy in these Storms, so if youre able to stay indoors... please do so. • Storms are moving NE, except for a cell near Tenterfield heading SE towards the town. • Areas likely to be affected over the next hour or so include West Grafton, Nambucca Heads, Tenterfield, Ben Lomond, Guyra, Armidale, South West Rocks.
