1:40 PM As regular readers know, Im a Jack Bauer fan, so when I saw this article go up, I had to talk to the JewishPresss editor and get the story behind it. It turns out that a LOT of Olim read their article yesterday about getting a gun license, and because the NBN website has the information up in English, a lot of Olim hoped or assumed that NBN could also help them get the gun license to go along with their Teudat Zehut and drivers license. NBN asked if they could clarify that while NBN has the basic gun licensing information up on their site, you cannot apply through NBN to get a gun license, and NBN cant help with the process - so please stop calling.
