Account Manager – Sales Job Code: AM001 Job Category: Marketing & Business Development Job Description: Exhibitions provide the opportunity for potential buyers to meet a wide range of sellers within a single venue and range from general consumer shows to specialist trade events. The work typically involves: -Maximize profitability of each Exhibition by Leveraging supplier opportunities -Maximizing Sqm Sales, Increasing visitors’ attendance, Controlling Costs, Increasing efficiencies. -Assist in the implementation of overall sales and marketing plan for designated exhibitions including intensive telesales activities. -Marketing and selling exhibition space/stands -Coordinating sponsorship -Advertising and publicizing events -Writing promotional material/press releases -Undertaking market research. The working day is normally 9 am to 5 pm Sunday to Thursday but it can require long hours to meet tight deadlines.
