1. Anita Pratap of Aam Aadmi Party :- Anita Pratap, a veteran Journalist of international repute. She was former CNN South Asia Bureau chief and rose to international fame, being the first journalist to meet LTTE Chief Velupillai Prabhakaran. Retired from active service, she is currently into social service. Married to Former Norways Ambassador to India, Arne Roy Walther, she played a key role in defusing LTTE-Lankan Crisis as part of Norway Mission. 2. KV Thomas of Indian National Congress:- Prof K V Thomas is the current sitting MP of Kochi. He is also a Union Minister in current UPA Govt. Worked as Professor in Sacred Hearts College, KV Thomas soon got into active politics after his retirement as Chemistry HOD. Was former Tourism and Excise minister of Kerala and currently as Union Civil Supplies Minister. 3. AN Radhakrishnan of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP):- AN Radhakrishnan is a native of Ernakulam and veteran in politics. A Graduate in Economics, AN Radhakrishnan soon joined in Janatha party and later into BJP. He was former State Secretary of BJP and actively involved into local politics. 4. Christy Fernandez of CPIM Ernakulam സിപിഐഎം എറണാകുളം:- Dr. Christy Fernandez IAS stands in Ernakulam as a CPM supported Independent. As a former Gujarat cadre IAS Officer, Christy served in various capacities like Union Secretary of Petroleum Energy, Agriculture, commerce etc. Soon he became Presidential Secretary of Prathibha President. Retired from govt service.
