Discussion link: Call for Applications: Doctoral, Masters and Certificate Programs in Conflict Resolution, Human Security and Global Governance at UMass Boston 2-We are proud to announce that applications are open for the Post-Graduate Certificate in Social Innovation Management, starting on March 15, 2014. This program has been endorsed and supported by a range of innovative organizations and institutions such as The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership, Ashoka East Africa, the Harvard Social Entrepreneurship Collaboratory, the African Management Initiative and the Unreasonable Institute. This unique program, based in Kenya, brings together a group of 25 competitively selected, highly talented individuals from around the world. You receive a holistic, future-oriented training (read: employable, sustainable, visionary skills) endorsed by leaders across the social, business, education, and government sectors. Your 5-months in Kenya will possess the depth and pace necessary to train for effective social change making - the intensity is equivalent to a 2-year traditional masters degree. In addition to a facilitated apprenticeship placement and a unique personal leadership development curriculum, you will learn skills ranging from Design Thinking to Storytelling as a Leadership Skill, from Organization Management to Social Entrepreneurship - all taught by some of the foremost international practitioners in their fields.
