1 Cor 7:10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: - TopicsExpress

1 Cor 7:10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. 11 But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife. How could one who claims to love Jesus teach this verse allows divorce for any reason as long as she or he remains unmarried???? Is one faithful who disobeys a direct command, any command of King Jesus, the Son of God; A wife is not to depart from her husband, and a husband is not to divorce his wife with the one exception stated by God in Matt 19:9? This is not a trick question! Is a person faithful or Christ like who teaches one that in certain circumstances can disobey any command of Jesus and still be right with the God the Farther? How is it even possible in the mind of a right thinking servant of God that His children or the congregations they attend are faithful when they support (financially or otherwise) one who teaches you can disobey any command of Jesus and be faithful? Vs 11 simple states that if the one who sins by violating the direct command of Jesus through Paul in vs 10 (see also Matt 19:9), if they come to their senses before its everlastingly too late and want to come back to the Lord in repentance, the only hope you would have is found in the statement, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband; that statement is a hope against hope for the lost who may find themselves in that condition even though when they left, they were not concerned what God thinks or would want them to do! Vs 11 is not God granting approval to violate the Command he just stated in the sentence just before that statement! God is not saying I command you not to divorce because it is sinful, but you can divorce and still be faithful to me!!! is God of creation stupid like as those who promote this sinful garbage think he is? Do we as mere men even create laws that state, the speed limit is 35 in a school zone, but if you do go 90 miles an hour, try to may sure you do not hit any children???? thus justifying the 90 mile an hour cruse past an elementary school as long as all children stay on the side walk? Do we then say to that law breaker-violator Come go to church with us you faithful 90 mile and hour school zone cruiser person; after all you did not hit any children? Really!!!! Is that not what these false brethren are saying or expecting the faithful of God to swallow, hook line ans sinker???? Can those who promote a practice a state where individual sinfulness covers ones garment with violence of treachery still be considered a real Godly person? is the one who covers ones garment with violence a real Godly person? How can a congregation who willingly accepts those (who are guilty of this sin) into the fellowship of local Christians, really be a collective of the Lords Church? Malachi 2:13-16 And this is the second thing you do: you cover the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping and crying; so He does not regard the offering anymore, nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, For what reason? Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. For the LORD God of Israel says that He hates divorce, for it covers ones garment with violence, says the LORD of hosts. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously. How can those who teach and those practice this treachery against the core value of Godly love of Christ and the core value of love of and for the brethren we are supposed to have still be considered faithful?
