1 Corinthians 1:10 But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be NO DISSENSIONS OR FACTIONS OR DIVISIONS AMONG YOU, but that you be perfectly UNITED in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments. WHAT DENOMINATION ARE YOU?? Today there are more than 600 denominational churches, each teaching different man-made doctrines. The word DENOMINATION comes from the same root word as denominator in fractions, which means DIVIDE OR DIVISION! DIVISION in the Kingdom is not of God!!! DENOMINATIONS are of human origin and have no scriptural authority to exist! There were NO DENOMINATIONS in the first century church. The reason they were created because man will not accept Gods word as final authority!! The confusion of DENOMINATIONALISM is guided by opinion, by bad Hermeneutics, poor scholarship, pride, prejudice, impulse, physical sensations, emotionalism and perhaps assumptions. DENOMINATIONS give their allegiance to the authority of men over that of Christ. Since Gods word is true (John 17:17), that which disagrees or is different from it is false. ALL DENOMINATIONS, are the result of the many departures man has made from the teaching of the Bible. Since we know that is means DIVISION, why would the church promote what God hates??
