1 Corinthians 1:9—“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” God promises to be with us every step of the way. Every single person in the entire Bible and throughout history can prove that God was with them. The Israelites did so many things, but God was with them through it all guiding and directing them. All the prophets have stories of God leading them, the disciples had Jesus with them and were still guided by Him. We today have Jesus with us and His Word and know that God is leading us. He asks us to do many things but He never leaves us or forsakes us at any time. God is faithful to His task of being with us, helping us, giving us wisdom, protection, whatever we need at that moment. We need to be faithful to God. We are sinners, we fail everyday, all day, but we should at least be trying to do what God wants. I know it’s hard to sit and wait, but God is asking us to do that. He is asking us to look to Him, lean on Him, and do what He wants us to do. We will be happier and have many more blessings if we can just sit and wait on God. I hope that today we all have opportunity to look to God for something. Try to wait for God, cast your burden on Him and see what happens.
