1 Corinthians 2:9-10 9) But as it is written, Eye hath not - TopicsExpress

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Earlier in the day, my wife texted me these verses (with a few others from 1 Corinthians 2) while I was at work. As we were discussing them after I got home, God brought us to this conclusion: if we dont believe God (which has been the case in times past), we dont want to know the things that will come upon us (because we already know some of the things that came upon us for unbelief in the past). Yet if we do believe God, we have not seen or heard, nor has it entered into our heart what He has prepared for us for hearing and obeying His voice. Today, some equipment was delivered to my store which was purchased from one of my competitors who has closed several stores in the past 3-4 years. By the will of God, I worked for this competitor for 6 1/2 years before going to work for my current employer. Some persons in authority with that company betrayed me in some ways that, frankly, caused me to marvel (and the Lord had warned me beforehand that I would be betrayed). Since that time, I have blessed them and given thanks for them. God knows I forgave them. As I have done that, I have watched as my competitor has closed store after store after store, in addition to losing stores to tornadoes, and closing entire distribution centers. They just closed 4 more stores in the past week. I think Ill keep believing God. I like receiving the riches of the Gentiles. God bless you.
