Designed to be light weight& flexible to cope rough roads...it had Wheel base that could be fitted with different body styles ..ranging from five -seat touring car to a TWO seat Runabout..or a SEVEN seat town car.. --- $ cylinder engine pumping 20 hp, could achieve 45 mph...A hand crank was used to start Model T till 1920, when some models equipped with electric Starter ---- As Petrol was fed purely by gravity ...:-) The only way to Drive a Model T up steep Hill was by REVERSE , incidentally the REVERSE gear was more powerful than the TWO forward Gears ----- Only ONE Color BLACK !!:-) -----More The Man HENRY FORD ...who believed... An Idealist is a person, who helps others to be Prosperous.....( Guess he was referring himself ).... He revolutionized the society by Cheaply & efficiently creating the Model T .....he paid his employees twice as his rival companies did !! ------ Assembly line production also allowed FORD to cut the working day from NINE hours to Eight hors & convert into THREE Shifts working !!( at 1920 s) ..
