1. First the military acknowledges some time ago that this guy deserted or at least left his post of his own accord through their investigations. 2. The military also acknowledges that casualties (KIA) have resulted because of attempts to find this guy. 3. The guy was clearly being used for propaganda purposes by the Taliban and all indications are that he did so without coercion. 4. His father has become some kind of converted Muslim. He claims his son has forgotten how to speak English and he has had to learn a Afghan dialect. 5. There are writings by Bergdahl and his father which indicate that they have become sympathetic to the Taliban cause (borderline treasonous). 6. The media first reports the Bergdahl is in good health and spirits upon his release, but then the Black House states that the trade was necessary because of his deteriorating health and whisk him off to a military hospital in Germany rather than the U.S. 7. The Øbama administration is now giving conflicting reports on the status of Bergdahl.......POW vs. Hostage per Susan Rice & Jay Carney. 8. The military comes out and states that Bergdahl will not be charged with being AWOL or desertion, even though their investigation revealed that he had done one or the other. It is not clear if he actively sought out the Taliban to join them or whether or not he was inadvertently caught by them. In any case, his captivity cost the lives of at least six US soldiers by all accounts, 9.The Taliban commander who held Bergdahl was Johnny on the Spot with all kinds of information regarding his captivity. He was not summarily executed like a lot of our other soldiers have been. 10. One has to ask, given all the facts: a. Is this a contrived incident for publicity or attention diversion ? b. Is this a contrived incident to allow senior Taliban personnel to be released ? c. Why has the Øbama administration put so much emphasis on this guy when they knew he left his post for questionable reasons ? d. Why were US personnel expended and others put at risk to rescue a traitor. e. Why did Øbama consider giving five senior Taliban freedom to secure the release of a known traitor or at least law-breaker ? f. What are the underlying motives ? Because we leave no one behind - There was no such consideration for the slain American at Benghazi ! 11. The US media needs to be asking these hard questions...along with Congress. Øbama clearly violated US law in releasing the Taliban and should be held accountable for it without the criticism and opposition of the media and the democrat.
