John is not concern about the anti-christ. He is concern about the spirit of the anti-Christ. No. 2. The spirit of these anti-christ(s) do not believe that Jesus came in bodily form. At the time, this was referring to Cerinthus, father of the Gnostics. The Gnostics do not believe Jesus came in the flesh.
