James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Phillippians 1:12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; Phillippians 1:13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places; Phillippians 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. Phillippians 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: Phillippians 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: Phillippians 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. Phillippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. 1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 2 Timothy 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. Romans 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
