1. Just for today: I will try to live through this day and not tackle all my problems at once. 2. Just for today: I will try to be happy and realize my happiness does not depend on what others do or say or what happens around me. Happiness is a result of being at peace with my own self. 3. Just for today: I will try to adjust myself to what is and not adjust to what is my own desires. I will accept my family, my friends, my business, and my circumstances as they come. 4. Just for today: I will take care of my physical health. I will exercise my mind. I will read something spiritual. 5. Just for today: I will do some body a good turn and not be found out. If anyone finds out it will not count. I will do one thing I dont want to do. I will do act of love for my neighbor. 6. Just for today: I will go out of my way to me kind to someone I meet. I will be considerate, talk low, and look as good as I can. I will not engage in unnecessary criticism or find fault, nor try to improve or change someone except myself. 7. Just for today: I will have a program. I may not follow it exactly, but I will have it. I will save myself from two pest-hurry and indecision. 8. Just for today: I will stop saying If I have time.. I will never have time for anything. If I want time, I must take it. 9. Just for today: I will have quite time and meditate wherein I will think of my Higher Power, myself, and my neighbor. I will relax and seek the truth. 10. Just for today: I will be not afraid. Particularly. I will be unafraid to be happy, enjoy that is what good, what is happy, and what is beautiful in life. 11. Just for today: I will not compare myself to others. I will accept myself and live to the best of my ability. 12. Just for today: I choose to believe I can live this one day. This from Emotions Anonymous and I there are many days that I have to read this over and over and over again. Sometimes I have had to chance the Just for today to Just for the moment. I hope this will help someone in our group. :)
