Just in case there is anyone on my page that is in any doubt that UKIP are a shower of racists led by a chief racist, here is what Nigel Farage had to say in the wake of a bruising radio interview, in an attempt to portray himself as NOT a racist: Police figures are quite clear that there is a high level of criminality within the Romanian community in Britain. This is not to say for a moment that all or even most Romanian people living in the UK are criminals. But it is to say that any normal and fair minded person would have a perfect right to be concerned if a group of Romanian people suddenly moved in next door. So lets get this right Nigel, in an attempt to diffuse the notion that you and your party are not racists you go on to make another racist statement? For those who do not view the above statement in this manner, pick a religion or ethnicity that means something to you and replace the word Romanian with that. For example, if a muslim moved in next door, if a Scots person moved in next door, if a Catholic moved in next door - any right minded person would be concerned, right? And, note the casual use of the word suddenly like they just sneaked up deliberately to scare you. They never even gave you a say in whether they should live there or not. 2. Not unrelated: Next up, we vote NO in September 2014, it is clear the path we are on. Would you trust Nigel Farage with your future? The man whose party is opposed to devolution. Indeed, a dangerous man who if had the chance would strip Scotland of the powers it does have. And, we are to believe the pie in sky notion that more powers will be devolved if you just believe us and vote NO. It is tripe. YOU are being deceived and you will regret not taking the chance to take your future into your own hands. You want a fully functioning Parliament that represents the people and is best equipped to remedy any mistakes made then you must vote YES in 2014. The divergence in Westminster and Holyrood politics is obvious if you want to see and will become even more clear when the results of the European Elections are announced in the coming weeks. Think about it.
