1.Mission Mars and Missiles NOT WITHSTANDING ,the DRDO has been a white elephant as far as the the INDIAN JAWAN SEPOY is concerned who is the end user. 2. Ultimately it is the life of the SEPOY which is at stake when it comes to the last bullet in his rifle and the DRDO has not been able to give him a single reliable totally indigenous rifle since the days he was using his .303 BOLT action ! 3.How is the soldier at LOC underfire is concerned if DRDO is sending missiles into the sea from Chandipur ranges or a rocket to moon and mars or marketing Anti Mosquito Allovera cream when DRDO can not give him an efeective rainproof coat or a nice warm sleeping bag comparable to US Army issue available to a Paki soldier or even to a Non State Actor sponsered by him ? 4.Even as per an audit asked by uncle Antony of UPA ,only 10 % of end products of DRDO are effectively usefull to the end user i.e. the Soldier ! And this organisation consumes an annual budget of 15 ,000 Crores ? Good that the Secretary on contract beyond his age for retirement has ben sacked. Send him to siachen now to continue earning his pension.
