1. OK, this is confusing. I very clearly remember posting last night from the Island Girl at Ponte Vedra about playing in John Austills open mic and being a bit outside my comfort zone...after all, I was at an open mic Id never been to, performing before people I didnt know. Had a great time, BTW, even if everybody else in the room was at least 20 years younger than us. One of the songs I did was a favorite of mine, Whipping Post--and then, just before we left, he did it! I dont understand why I cant seem to find this post anywhere, when it occurred before the post about my phone suddenly having gone on military time, which DID appear. I got my phone back to the time setting I wanted. Now, if that post will kindly turn up...However, if it doesnt Im much more likely to think it was due to the vagaries of either Facebook or my phone than that Im losing my mind. 2. Doc had his 2nd chemotherapy session today, at Southeast Veterinary Oncology and Internal Medicine. They said that it was natural for his tumor to have blown up--its dying and Docs body has noticed the void and is filling it up with fluid. They said the tumor is definitely shrinking--they gave Doc a very good report and that they might be able to try to remove the growth soon. This time, when we got back from our music lesson, Doc was milling around in the kitchen with the rest of the cats, waiting to be given soft food. Later we were eating rotisserie chicken and Doc was very aggressively trying to snatch food off my plate.
