1. Operation against Akber Bugti is absolutely justified. When a politician holds a gun and confronts State security agencies, he ceases to be a politician and is stripped off all his political rights and prerogatives. 2. Benazir Bhutto was provided adequate security measures on 27th December, 2007 at Rawalpindi public meeting. What happened later is a mess up of PPP’s own internal security measures. 3. It was a right decision to send Nawaz Sharif to Saudi Arabia, in exile on his request. He was awarded death sentence by the competent court of law but the said sentence was commuted to life imprisonment by the President of Pakistan exercising his powers of pardon/clemency under article 45 of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973. 4. President Musharraf will return to Pakistan before next elections. His arrival will be historical event when Lackhs of people will turn up at the airport to welcome him. This needs some time to organize the party at the grass root level. Since it is one time shot therefore, the party will cash that event through snowballing effect and its result will be visible at the time of elections to the entire Nation. He is soldier, thus, fear is unknown to him. 5. APML needs new faces, who will be introduced as new leadership of the country with their sheer diligence, dedication and merit, in the coming months. 6. No regret over imposing emergency on 03rd November, 2007, since it was the requirement of the State, Security, Solidarity and Integrity. 7. Former Prime Minister Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali was dismissed because of his incompetence and lack of grip on the State’s affairs. 8. Regarding Lal Masjid episode, President Musharraf’s Govt. displayed utmost restrain, tolerance and patience with the sole objective so that maximum students (Talibs) of the Mosque could manage to escape, since they were hostage in the hands of terrorists. Few thousand students (Boys and Girls) successfully escaped from the custody of these said terrorists. Resultantly, almost everybody escaped other than terrorists. Terrorists killed one Lt. Col. Of Commando detachment which infuriated the troops and eventually 94 terrorists were killed and about a dozen security personnel embraced Shahdet and not even a single woman or student was killed in that counter.
