A vacancy has arose for an IT enthusiast with a solid combination of computer skills and interpersonal skills to join our Data Analysis Services department as a Reporting Intern. The Position PURPOSE Reporting to the Data Analyst Lead, the successful candidate’s principal purpose will be to generate and maintain reporting tools for the clients in various countries in Africa that use a mobile phones/web application market survey system that is administered. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be involved with the following roles: Perform data mining, data extraction and data analysis procedures as per client requirements; Perform data loading onto web servers as per client requirements; To provide technical support to the team lead ensuring that client needs in data analysis are met through data mining, design and creation of reports; Develop and maintain documentation to data analysis development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections; Review and analyze the data analysis process to determine whether all required elements have been included; Design data structures and dashboards using relevant tools; Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures; Verifies client data by reviewing, correcting, deleting or re‐entering data; 2 Secures information by completing data base backups; Provide and implement analysis solutions to clients; Perform routine web server administration tasks; Create Excel/Access based reporting tools; Candidate Profile The prospective candidate should be in their final year in pursuit of a Diploma or Degree in in IT, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Studies or related fields.
