This verse reminds me to take time to consider what great things God had done for me in my life. As I sit and take time to reflect upon God’s goodness, it helps me to realize how much I can trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit, my Heavenly Father and His Word! When I focus on Jesus and not myself, my faith strengthens. Like most people, we have a tendency to evaluate God’s love for us based on what He may do for us in the future, instead of thanking God for everything He has already done in our life.
