1. The Supreme Court Bar Association has received a communication dated 27.08.2014 from the Registry regarding outstanding payment of service and maintenance charges from the advocates-allottees. 2. Hon’ble members of the Supreme Court Bar Association are requested to kindly cooperate in this regard, clear the arrears and to make further timely payments, because under the existing rules, non-payment of maintenance and service charges, entails cancellation of allotment of chambers. 3. We, the Executive Committee, is very conscious of unreasonable burden placed on Hon’ble members by the aforesaid charges, therefore, we shall continue to pursue for complete waiver of service and maintenance charges, as early as possible.
