(1) Those who watched the video of the attack on a TV channel were shocked. Citizens wish that once the attacker is caught, a fast track court should be entrusted with the speedier trial. All the proceedings in this criminal assault case must be completed as early as possible. A punishment announced within say six months will demonstrate that indeed the police and the State government have the will power and capacity to act swiftly in case of such crimes. (2) It is time the banks undertake a serious review of security arrangements at ATMs and take quick remedial measures to ensure that such attacks do not happen
